Week 6 training

OK, mum has not spotted me sneaking on here to have some fun. I have been secretly spying on her as she has been tapping away over the last few months so I reckon it`s now my turn.

I`m not sure where to start but today seems as good a place as any as I`ve had quite good fun and made some new friends too.We had a normal morning, mum went out to see someone and I had a snooze. Then she was back and it was all paws on deck...

poo bags.....check, now I know I`m going too !
lead, my posh one so must be somewhere good,
mum is adding scarf, gloves and boots.....and finally....treat bag.I know where I`m going. I know where I`m going....Obedience class.

I love going here as mum is pretty quick to learn what to do. Her training is going well so far and she walks quite nicely to heel.I get her to give me lots of treats, she is a good girl.

There were lots of new faces when we arrived and I stayed pretty close to mum as some were a bit loud. These extroverts over do it sometimes. Most of the dogs however were well behaved.I was a bit sad `cos mum must have got us there a bit late and I missed my run round in the field with my pals.

Cyril came then .He stands in the middle of the square and tells mum what to do,she listens pretty well most of the time too.First I have to sit so mum knows when to give me treats and then I do my downs, stays and waits.

The fun bit came next as I walked around the square making sure mum stayed to heel. I had a good look at all the new dogs. Some were a bit bad mannered and tried to tell me off but I ignored them.We had one dog who was new who Cyril kept walking with. I think he was a bit nervous as every time Cyril tried to get him to sit he tried to bite his hand.We all love Cyril so much . He shows us how to train our mums and dads. Sometimes we get to have a turn in the middle with him .After an hour I think mum got tired as we all got to break. Then woopee the fun began.

I allowed mum off lead while I went to have a play with my pals.I met a golden lab who is only 1/2 years old...she was great fun. I was especially careful next to tiny little Monty. He looked like my uncle`s springer but was soooooo small. He started shaking when we all got too close, but mum is well trained and she gave him one of my treats.I love running round the field with all my pals.I think my mum is a bit boring though as she just stands there yakking instead of chasing all her friends...she might just be shy though like I used to be.

I can`t wait to tell you all more about my doggy days sometime soon.

Keep up with training your mums and dads, they get there in the end.

Fudge xxx.
